Aim & Scope

Plenty of promising findings never make it out of the laboratory. The Translational Medicine & Therapeutics Journal (TMTJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Inkwise Press, and it exists for the work that tries to close that gap: studies that carry a discovery toward a diagnostic, a therapy or a change in clinical practice.

We are especially interested in research that shows its working at each step from bench to bedside, including the failures and the unexpected results that teach the field something.

Scope

TMTJ publishes original research articles, review articles, case studies and short communications in areas including, but not limited to:

  • Translational biomedical research
  • Drug discovery and development
  • Gene and cell-based therapies
  • Clinical pharmacology and therapeutics
  • Precision medicine and personalised treatment
  • Regenerative medicine and tissue engineering
  • Diagnostic biomarker research
  • Immunotherapies and vaccine development
  • Medical devices and digital health innovation
  • Clinical trial design, outcomes and regulation

Peer Review

Every submission goes through double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the subject. The usual time from submission to first editorial decision is 12–14 weeks. See the Peer Review Policy for details.

Originality

All manuscripts are screened for similarity with iThenticate before they go to reviewers, as set out in the Plagiarism Policy.
