About Us
Inkwise Press is an independent open-access publisher based in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. We publish ten peer-reviewed journals across medicine, the life and agricultural sciences, engineering, artificial intelligence and education.
We started from a simple idea: good research should be easy to find, free to read and fair to publish. Each of our journals has its own editorial board, and editorial decisions rest with those editors alone. Inkwise Press looks after everything around them: the publishing platform, production, persistent identifiers, long-term preservation and the policies that keep the process honest.
What we stand for
- Open access by default. Every article is free to read online from publication, with no subscription or registration.
- Authors keep their copyright. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
- Careful peer review. Submissions go through double-blind review by at least two independent experts.
- Research integrity. Manuscripts are screened for similarity, and we follow the guidance of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
- Long-term preservation. Published content is archived through the PKP Preservation Network.
